If you use your car more frequently than your average driver with shorter trips over longer drives then we would advise an interim car and van service at 6 months or 6000 miles. This is similar to the MOT and full service but is less intrusive.
We carry out checks to the interior such as gauges and warning lights as well as seat belts and air con along with other areas. Externally we ensure all lights are operational as well as boot and door opening mechanisms.
We would carry out a free brake check as a part of this service, or our full car and van service, which would be a visual assessment rather than an extensive inspection. Other ancillary items that would be reviewed are coolant levels and replacement of engine oil and filter.
